1. How long have you been in the adult industry?
Brock:
I came to this industry and to SlickCash.com full time
about a year ago.
2. Can you give our readers a little background about yourself. What
did you do before you got into this business.
Brock:
Well for the almost 10 years I was in the auto industry I
started as a sales person then became business manger before being
the sales manger for a Chrysler dealership. I then moved and worked
as a Fleet and Leasing Manager for Honda Canada, before deciding one
day I had had enough of it and wanted to do something different.
3.How did your previous job/profession help you in what you do
today?
Brock:
Well it gave me a great basis for customer service. When I
first started with SlickCash I was surprised at how little the
affiliate was looked after. I knew from my previous job that the ppl
that bring in the money are #1 and should be treated that way. So my
customer and client service is the best thing I could bring from my
past job. If you can make ppl your friend and provide them with what
they need when they need it you will likely have a long and
rewarding business relationship.
4.What is your daily routine - of and with the maintenance of your
website?
Brock:
Well I am very fortunate to have an amazing support group
here at Slickcash.com. We are trying to maintain our other programs
as well. The biggest and most important tool that I use to make sure
everything is working is the feedback from our affiliates. It is so
easy for us to assume everything is going smoothly, but the real
truth comes from the ppl using our programs every day. So first
thing is to look at the support e-mails to the programs and of
course respond to them. Then I guess it would be to be on ICQ and
forum boards and listen to what ppl are saying and implement the
changes ASAP to make it right. It is a daily routine of listening to
feedback and tweaking things so it all runs smoothly.
5.What is the most important thing you have learned over the years
in this industry?
Brock:
Listen to what ppl want. It is not me that puts our products
out to the public it is the affiliate who wants to get the most from
his traffic. So if you take the time to listen to the feedback and
the requests, and you do your very best to accommodate everyone.
Success will sure to follow. A very close second to that would be
simply being available when an affiliate needs some info. There is
no substitute for good quality support.
6.Can you tell us about slickcash – what it is and what it offers?
Brock:
Well this time around as we are now launching version 2 of
SlickCash.com. We obviously did a lot of work updating sites adding
new ones and making the content fresh and new. We tried to make it
the best program possible, and give the webmaster a choice of
everything. They wanted better stats tracking, they now have it.
They asked for FHG’s we now have them. They asked for $1 trials, we
now have them. They wanted a choice of console and console free
links, they now have the choice. So again it goes back to listening
and doing our very best to make anyone who would want to promote us
very happy.
7.What is your favorite part about working in this business?
Brock:
Doing something that I love. I really enjoy coming into the
office everyday and touching base with all the ppl that I have met
in this business. What else can I say it is an awesome business to
be in.
8.What are three things would you like to see changed (be it
positive or negative) in this industry, tomorrow, a week from now,
or a year down the road?
Brock:
That is tough. For the most part I am fairly happy with the
way things are, but that may be due to my short time in the biz. I
was very surprised by the lack of affiliate support when I came into
the biz. So for me that would be the one thing. For all of those ppl
who deal with me I hope I have provided you with what you needed
when you needed it. I really do try my very best to make sure ppl
are looked after. Sorry I can’t come up with any more.
9. If you were starting all over today, would you do anything
differently? And if so what would that be?
Brock:
Well with the launching of SlickCash version 2 it sort of is
like starting over. And the biggest asset we had was listening to
the ppl promoting us and trying to provide them with all of the
tools they needed to be successful with SlickCash.com.
10.What would you say are the biggest obstacle(s) facing in the
adult industry today?
Brock:
Man another tough question. The only troubles I really run
into is providing everything that ppl want whether that person is
the surfer or the webmaster…..everything always has new and
innovative it is hard to keep pace sometimes.
11.Any new projects in the near future you would like to share with
our readers?
Brock:
We are consistently trying to update and improve everything
about our products. Whether it be slickcash.com pillpromote.com
cupidbucks.com or sexpromote.com. All I can say is just keep in
contact with me and you will always be aware of the new and exciting
changes we are coming with. The biggest thing is all of the new
sites, hosted galleries and content projects we have going and are
working on.
12. What is slickscash number one secret for success?
Brock:
Giving the best support possible and providing everyone with
what they want when they want it. Again I can’t stress enough how
focused we are on providing the best products and service we can.
