1. How long have you been in the adult industry?

Cindy: I feel into the industry 2 years ago when I attended the Internext convention in Las Vegas. I met Jason Angell from VidsVidsVids and he introduced me to Fred. Fred explained what his company did and I found it very interesting and fit my personality very well.

2. Can you give our readers a little background about yourself. What did you do before you got in this business?

Cindy: I studied Marketing in University and finished my degree last year. I also worked at a mainstream internet payment processor company as a sales representative at the same time that I went to school. It was the most stressful job I have ever had and demanding but it did teach me a lot.

3. How did your previous job/profession help you in what you do today?

Cindy: My work experience definitely helped me understand how the transaction and traffic works on the internet. My selling skills definitely improved during my time at the company. My school experienced definitely improved my networking skills and helped me understand product placement and advertising.

4. What is your daily routine - of and with the maintenance of Braincash?

Cindy: My daily routine at Braincash being an Account Representative can range between many activities. Checking and obtaining new affiliates, branding, communicating new and current sites to affiliates, traffic and sales stats management and marketing strategy.

5. What is the most important thing you have learned over the years in this industry?

Cindy: The thing that I have learned is that you have to take risks. Well informed risks of course but you cannot stop trying new things.

6. Can you tell us about the braincash website – what it is and what it offers?

Cindy: Braincash is a Montreal-based adult affiliate program, with its inception dating to 2000. 7. What is your favorite part about working in this business?

Cindy: My favorite part is the independence and the freedom that this industry gives you. I get to think out of the box all the time and doing different activities every day.

8. What is your least favorite part about working in this business?

Cindy: My least favorite part is the judgments and stereotypes that you get from other people outside of the industry. It seems like a lot of people have their own opinions and feel that they can judge us without actually understanding what we do.

9. If you were starting all over today, would you do anything differently? And if so what would that be?

Cindy: Unfortunately, I have not been in the industry that long so I have absolutely no regrets (yet)!

10. What piece of advice would you give yourself if you were just starting out in this industry?

Cindy: I would start with the basics and learn from ground up. Patience is such a virtue in this business.

11. What are three things would you like to see changed (be it positive or negative) in this industry, tomorrow, a week from now, or a year down the road?

Cindy: First I thing that I would like to see is the credit card processing online industry improved. So many sales have been wasted and it would improve the industry as a whole if a better solution was presented. I would also like to see some self regulation in the industry. Finally, I think that there should be more women behind the cameras working in this industry. I think that more women would be valuable and could expand business even further.

12. Any new projects in the near future you would like to share with our readers?

Cindy: Braincash has a lot of new partners which include Brandon Iron and Pierre Woodman and Braincash will be creating new niche sites with their content. We have already launched some sites such as CoverMyFace.com, EuropeHotties.com and SpermCocktail.com which has already experienced a lot of success. We plan on releasing 4 new sites before the Miami show. In addition, Braincash will also launching a new gay cash program which will feature 4 sites as well.
