1. How long have you been in the adult industry?

Punker Barbie: About 14 months, I started in October of 2003

2. Can you give our readers a little background about yourself? What did you do before you got in this business?

Punker Barbie: I was in college going to school, prior to that I was working for a insurance company, then for a mainstream agent helping cast, set up appointment kinda was like the office “go to girl”.

3. How did your previous job/profession help you in what you do today?

Punker Barbie: Well my father had a big influence on my technical background. He has been a computer programmer since the early 90’s he then moved to adult in 93. I have always had a good solid technical background. I was in school looking for a job that wasn’t going to consist of lots of time but enough $ to pay my bills. So my Dad suggested I work for him and sell content using his program he had built. It gave me the ability to sell content with out knowing anyone. My sales were made my cold calls and e-mails. I then went to Phoenix Forum 2004 and met up with XXXCash, they gave me an offer I couldn’t say no to. So 3 weeks later I packed my stuff and moved to Phoenix AZ and became there affiliate manager :o)

4. What is your daily routine - of and with the maintenance of your website?

Punker Barbie: Depends on what day it is, normally I check e-mails, update my stats, send out e-mails to the new affiliates, then contact affiliates for what ever necessary reason, by that time its lunch… I get munchies work on getting more traffic sent my way and do what ever needs to be done. It ranges from getting new SEO affiliates to playing with my exit consoles or getting ready for my radio show. I also have weekly meeting with the owner of the company which I need to have my reports and documents ready for that too.

5. What is the most important thing you have learned over the years in this industry?

Punker Barbie: Be nice to everyone, its underestimated but goes a VERY long way. Relationships lead to future business propositions.

6. Can you tell us about your website – what it is and what it offers?

Punker Barbie: www.XXXCash.com offers a variety of niches such as Gay Military, Celebrity review Sites, Strippers, Asian, Milf, Teen solo, Teen Hardcore, and Herbal Meds; We are a Revshare program and launching PPJ march 31!!! YAY

7. What is your favorite part about working in this business?

Punker Barbie:I absolutely love the atmosphere of this industry. Everything from the nudity to the partying and the madness!

8. What is your least favorite part about working in this business?

Punker Barbie: Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek, the stereo types. Pretty girl automatically given the impression she’s content, dumb, or simply hired for her looks. Which YES in some cases that might be it, but looks don’t make a girl stay.

9. If you were starting all over today, would you do anything differently? And if so what would that be?

Punker Barbie: I don’t think I would do anything differently. I’m proud of things I have done which include mistakes its all part of the learning process.

10. What piece of advice would you give yourself if you were just starting out in this industry?

Punker Barbie: When going to a show have a pen at hand at ALL times, it’s the worst when you go back home and one is looking through the business cards. I like to write notes on them so I’m better organized.

11. What are three things would you like to see changed (be it positive or negative) in this industry, tomorrow, a week from now, or a year down the road?

Punker Barbie: I would like us to work a lot more closely. Too many times we see similar programs pop up and instead of working together and making a stronger force there is a lot of I wont do business with you.   Also more respect for the women in this industry, whether they are content, affiliate managers, account reps, sales, etc….Too many times I see people have drinks and try to get “fresh” with the ladies. I’m sure that most of the women are head strong and if they were interested they would let ya know ;)

12. Any new projects in the near future you would like to share with our readers?

Punker Barbie: For some reason there has been a high demand and interest with me. So I’m working on my Blog right now, so keep your eye out for it its going to be wicked and truly an insight of my daily activities that go beyond work and more what I do for fun!.
